VACATION WEEK!

So the Brunsman's are on vacation and even though it has only been a few days we have had a lot of fun, and a few excited happenings! First of all my parents moved to Gig Harbor. We are practically neighbors, we are very VERY happy for them. They have been very busy packing and moving from our old house in south east Tacoma. It is very strange they won't be there anymore. I grew up in that house. Brayden also learned how to ride his bike with no training wheels. He has been asking for weeks if we coud take them off, but both Rob and I have been hesitant, scared of what scars that may be left behind. Then one day Rob accidently ran over one of his training wheels so we had no choice. For the past few weeks he has just been sitting on his seat getting the nerve up to take off. But finally on Saturday he let us give him a push, he is doing pretty good!!! We are both very proud of him:)

At the end he just falls over. We have not yet moved from the grass, maybe later in the week!

Today was Brayden's last day of school and they had and end of the year field trip. We got to take the walk of ferry to Vashon and back and then went for a picnic at Point Defiance. Though is was a bit chili the weather held out for us. NO RAIN!!!

Brayden's teacher, he loves Teacher Jill!

Summer BBQ

After running the Sound to Narrows, we decided to throw a spur of the moment BBQ sense the weather was finally nice. It was a lot of fun and it was great to finally feel the sun on our faces. The kids had a great time.

Yes she is shaking her finger at me and telling me NO, God help me!
Poor Brayden, he try's so hard to be good to his little sister, but she loves to wrestle and will not keep his hands off of him.

We had some last minute visitor stop by. My old friend Nancy stopped by with her two kiddos to join in on the fun.
Water break!

I am never in any photos, I am always behind the lens.

She officially has had enough of her hair. Time to take the bow and the pony out!

My mom and Momo
They were playing peak a boo through the glass....Ummmm, you can see through it guys??

There it is, she is free. She is a complete mess

Group wrestling time, every body get Rob.

It was a great evening.

Hall of Fame

A few weeks ago my brother was inducted into the Tacoma Athletic Hall of Fame. Even though it was a long evening it was very cool. Swimming was such a huge part of our lives it was to see that all of the long hours and hard work finally paid off.

He even gave a little speech!

The showed a small slide show of some old swimming photos.

He's the one highlighted, first place of course, he's a Martinec!

They auctioned off one of his old jackets.

Needless to say I am very proud of him!

FAMILY

We had an amazing weekend. I can't stress enough how great my family is. Not many people can say that they love their in laws and really feel like they are family. Kelley and Matt, thank you for taking the time to come up and spend time with us. It was a lot of fun!

We also want to thank you for bringing the bouncy house, hours of endless fun!

We are going to miss you! But can't wait to make our first trip to Omaha???

Kayaking!!!!

Sunday before the big BBQ we took everybody down to the Harbor to go Kayaking. The boys, by boys I mean Alex and B, did very good!
I had to stay on the dock with Kuenzie, she was defiantly not feeling and was letting the entire Harbor know about it!
While out there they saw a bald eagle......

And 3 very aggressive Harbor Seals.

But I think the bravery award goes to Matt! He fought those Seals off no problem with his oar!

The weather was perfect and the water was so calm.
