Happy 4th of July!

My parents held the 4th festivities at their new house in Gig Harbor. Even though the weather didn't get very warm we had a great time. Brayden didn't like the fireworks very much and once they started going off he stayed inside with his hads over his ears. He does not like loud noises at all.
Good thing Big B was there to play with the kids. They love him, most of the time.
The kids were getting restless so we went for a walk in the neighborhood. There is horse stalls behing their house and the kids love going to see them.
There seems to be a few resident deer that live there as well.
Little B got brave and decided to try a sparkler. He loved it as you can see be the look on his face. This may be the first and last sparkler the kid ever touches.
Kuenzie found a new favorite head of hair to latch on to. She would not leave Deb's side.
Rob took this picture as if you couldn't tell.

Resting in the tent, dad almost fits.
After dinner the two B's played soccer for a while.
It was Ninja soccer.
There is B hiding behind our fireworks, notice the pose!
That was enough for him, he decided to watch from inside the office. It was much safier in there.

Soccer

Brayden is getting great at soccer. I have to say that the last session was the best to date, and there were no tears or tantrums and we got to stay the entire time.

This is my favorite drill. The coaches toss the hoop down the field and the kids take of running after it and have to try and jump through the moving hoop. B has gotten really good at it and can actually jump through twice.

Bike Riding

Brayden has become quite the expert bike rider in the past couple of weeks. He needs no help what so ever and has moved on to riding in the street with the neighbor kids. He is especially good when offered a coin for his services! Check our our professional BMX'ER!

Though me and Rob are extremely proud of B, it made us a little sad. He is growing up way to fast and it's another milestone in our lives to cross off the list.

Crabbing Experience!

We decided to take a boat out on one of our vacation days and take the kids crabbing and fishing. It was quite the experience to say the least. After 45 minutes the boat stopped working and we were drifting for a good two hours before we were rescued. It then took them over 4 hours to toe us back to the dock. We still had a pretty good day, caught a bunch of rock crab, and the weather was perfect. Brayden did great and had a really good day. Kuenzie on the other hand was less than thrilled and really didn't want any part in it. Here are few pick of our outing.

Pulling up our first pot of the day!

Only 1 keeper, we should have taken this as a sign as what was to come:(

Uncle Evan showing B how to fish.

Told you she didn't like it

This adventure was definitely one for the memory books. At least we got to spend the day with family and had a lot of laughs.
