Easter Weekend in Review
We had an incredibly fast, busy weekend. Thank god the weather was nice. My dad helped me build 2 large planter boxes for Brayden's garden project. Right now everything is still in cups inside the house, we are planning on planting everything this Sat, but need to buy more dirt. I greatly underestimated the amount of dirt we would need. I have already purchased 20 bags, and am thinking I need at least 10 more. Either way they turned out really nice, and am super excited to get the veggies and herbs in there.

After a long day of digging, weeding, and raking we opened a few Pacificos, warmed up the BBQ and put our feet up.
Here is the final product, see I need more dirt:(
Here is our second box for the stuff we are planting that requires some shade, mostly the herbs.
Brayden was sick all weekend so mostly stayed inside on the couch watching TV, but Kuenzie enjoyed being outside in the warm sun!

Once the kids went to bed it was time for the Easter Bunny to emerge and get the house ready. Here are the eggs.....
and here are the presents......

There were very excited in the morning!
BTW, that is marker on my daughters face not bruises!
Then it was time for the egg hunt.

After the egg hunt, we had to get ready for church.
And our second Easter egg hunt.

On our way to Grandma's house!
Where the Easter Bunny also stopped by and left gift baskets!

Easter Eggs
On Friday night we got our eggs ready for Easter and the kids had a great time getting messy!! We decided to do it without clothes to help avoid their clothes getting ruined. Hope everybody had a great Easter.

Look what we have here!
So I planted a ton of tomatoes (3 kinds), strawberries, and jalapenos, in hopes that enough would sprout. I have been coming home and checking every night! Well last night Brayden and I came in the door and headed straight to our cups and to our suprise look what we spoted.....
Here are all that we planted
Afternoon at the Park
Since it was such a nice day, and Rob was working I knew I had to get the kids out of the house or they were going to drive me nuts! I took them to Shemel Park in Gig Harbor, kids were very excited.
On the way there we stopped and McDonalds, and yes that is a wad of chicken nuggets in my daughters mouth and no she never swallowed it:(

Hump Day Quote of the day!
I know still no pictures, I promise I will try and work on them tonight, but in the mean time the quote of the day again comes from my beautiful baby boy (Yes Rob- he will always be my baby:) ). Yesterday I got wind that the weather was suppose to be some what nice so I decided to wear a dress to work. I got all ready and gathering their stuff for the day and as we were walking out of the house I notice Brayden was staring at me, we were in a hurry as usual and I told him to pick up the pace and get his butt in the car. He lifted his brows at me and said...
"But mom you forgot to put on your pants! Why are you leaving the house with no pants on, what's under there?"
While asking me what was under my dress he started crawling on the ground looking up my dress to see what was under there! I guess he has never really seen me in a dress and he was so confused. But it made me smile- love it!

HAPPY FRIDAY!- Quote of the day!
I cannot believe how Brayden feels like he has become an adault overnight! Apparently he feels it appropriate to parent me! So when driving home the other day, I got a comment from my little back street driver....
"Ummm mom, you need to be driving with two hands!"
I swear he is even better than his father at bossing me around while driving! Have a great weekend. We are having pictures from Grandpa Bob and Grandma Margie, pictures to come on Monday!

Weekend in Pictures
We had a very busy weekend, but fun! Below are a few pictures, have a great Monday!
Brayden and Kuenzie's new spot to watch TV together.
Quote of the day- Sunday April 3, 2011
I took the kids to the toy store in uptown yesterday and promised to buy them a toy if they were good for me at dinner. Brayden loves there animals there. So ran right over to them and I told him he could pick 2, right away he grabbed the largest whale there and said.....
"Mom is this a blue whale or a hump back whale?"
Me: "Ummmmm, Ummmm..... Well Brayden what do you think it is?"
Brayden: "Mom it's a hump back whale, UHG."
First of all how does he know all of these things, and when did I become the most annoying/stupid person in the world to my baby:(

Quote of the Day
So the quote of the day comes from my daughter. Me and my friend Melissa were sitting around gossiping over a glass of wine at the dinning room table, all of the sudden (I swear out of know where) Kuenzie pulls herself up in a chair between up grabs her juice and says while her head was bobbing back and forth...
"I know! Really!"
Just like she was one of the girls and had been part of the whole conversation from the beginning! Both my jaw and Robs feel wide open, we looked at eachother and said, what did she just say?? Gosh I had a great day!!
Crazy Day!!
I took the day off and we had lots to do and lots of running around to do! Including get the kids 2 and 4 year check ups. I was a little nervous because they both had to get shots. Poor B got 4 shots, he was not happy, and my little girl got 2. Brayden had gained a good amount of weight and is officially 38lbs, the 70th percentile and 75th percentile in height. My daughter on the other hand is only in the 20th percentile in weight at 23lbs. She is my little peanut. Before we left the house I had to take a few pictures because they both looked so cute!!
Silly Faces!

Kids Quote of the Day
Each and every day Rob and I are brought to our knees with some of the things that come out of our kiddos mouth. Sometimes I feel like they are the funniest kids alive and wonder where they get this stuff from. We came up with an idea to start writting down some of their better material so we would never forget. What better place than our family blog! So here it goes quote of the day number 1! While watching the Disney movie Tangled last night, Brayden looked at his father with a disgusted confused look and said.....
"What the heck, why is she singing to herself?"
It was amazing and for those of you that haven't seen it, it is much like an Aladin, or Little Mermaid and there are many times when the main character, Rubunzel, breaks out in song and dance!
The second quote of the day comes from my beautiful daughter Kuenzie, while we were driving into my moms this morning she says....
"Mom turn on the music, I want to listen to some Lady GaGa!"
Apparently she has been hanging out with her father to much:)

Field Trip to Wrights Park
Today we went to Wright Park on a field trip with Brayden's school. At first I thought it was a really random place for a field trip, I had never been there just driven by. But they have cleaned it up a lot and the kids had a blast. They have a huge play area and even a mini water park.
