Friends and Fun!
Last week on vacation we had our friends the Bothchers over for an impromptu BBQ. The weather was actually pretty nice! The kids were able to run for hours and had a lot of fun.
It was way to much fun, my head was hurting the next day! Why do drinks always go down so much faster and easier when the weather is nice! Thanks for coming over guys!

San Juan Trip
We decided to take a couple of days with the kids while we had the time off and take the Clipper to the San Juans. The kids really enjoyed the boat ride...
Leaving Seattle...
On the look out for some Orca whales????
This is deception pass....
I know it fuzzy, but this is a porpoise, closest thing to an Orca that we encountered.
Here is Friday Harbor!
Rams and deer....
We saw lots of bald eagles...
Though we didn't see any Orca Whales (which are actually dolphins- WHO KNEW???) it was one of the pretties places I have ever been!We finally made it to our hotel room and it was pouring down rain!
We ventured out for a quick bite to eat, most the remainder of the evening was spent jumping from bed to bed, while Rob and I shared some adult beverages!
And watched Goonies!
Brayden thought he was Iron Man!
The next day, the weather was a little better, so we did some sight seeing!
and some bowling!
I won, no matter what Rob says!
After the first game Kuenzie had officially had enough of Friday Harbor and was ready to go home to Grandma's and stay the night:(
Just so you know, these aren't logs, they are actually sea lions sun bathing!
And we were back in SEATTLE!
It was a lot of fun getting away just the four of us, even though we were exhausted by the time we returned. The kids did really good traveling and actually behaved and sat the entire 3 hour ferry ride. I actually had an older lady come up to me and tell me that I had the best behaved kids she had ever seen. DUH lady they are perfect:)
